New to Ghost?

Ghost works a little differently than competitor platforms. As a reader, there are no passwords to forget or remember.

  1. Subscribe using just your email address.
  2. Ghost sends you a confirmation email with a link to click to confirm you really wanted to sign-up. The confirmation link is good for 24 hours.
  3. Newsletter content is sent directly to your email inbox.
  4. If you ever want to read content directly on this website, the "Sign in" link asks for your email address, then sends you a login link by email – no password required! The login link is good for 24 hours.
  5. On the website, after you've logged in, clicking the "Account" button allows you to manage your preferences about what notifications you receive by email. You can also update your subscription plan, your name, or your email address.
  6. If you are not receiving posts by email that you expected to receive, clicking the "Account" button on the website allows you to check if there's a problem – and should let you correct it!
    • Ghost will disable emails to you if messages consistently fail to deliver or are marked as spam, so if your email provider has an extended "temporary" glitch, you might be caught by this well-meaning feature.

Note that if you unsubscribe from the newsletter, this does not remove your website account. If you are not a paid member and are inactive for a long time, your website account to Carol's Curiosities may be deleted.

Privacy Policy

Your contact information is required to send you the informative updates you've requested. Carol Oliver will not share this data with anyone except as required by technical providers to make it possible to deliver content and features to you.

Ghost partners exclusively with Stripe for payment processing and your relationships with both Ghost and Stripe are governed by their policies.
